The petitioner seeks bail in anticipation of his arrest in connection with Shikarpur P.S. Case No. 558 of 2019, dated 24.12.2019, instituted for the offences under Sections 420, 406 and 409/34 of the Indian Penal Code. The petitioner is alleged to be Member of the Board of Governors of Swarn India Multi State Credit Co-operative
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10089 of 2021(2) dt.22-02-2022 2/2 Society Ltd., a non-banking organization, which has taken the money of various gullible depositors, but the activities of the aforesaid non-banking organization have been wound up. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that his implication and prosecution in the instance case is only because he happens to be the brother of the ChairmanCum-Managing Director of the aforesaid non-banking organization.
However, considering the nature of accusation in the subject F.I.R., I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
The prayer for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner is, accordingly, rejected.
The application stands dismissed.
