The petitioner seeks bail in a case instituted for the offence punishable under Section 304(B) of the Indian Penal Code.

It is alleged that informant had married his daughter with co-accused Satyendra Kumar. Satyendra Kumar and other coaccused also made demand of motorcycle, but due to nonfulfillment of the said demand, Satyendra Kumar along with other accused persons tortured the daughter of the informant. It is further alleged that due to non-fulfillment of dowry demand, the accused persons sprinkled Kerosene oil on her body and put her on fire. Thereafter, the informant on getting information, went to the

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.54130 of 2016 (2) dt.21-12-2016 2/2 in-laws house of his daughter and found his daughter in burnt condition. He received information from neighbour about the injury sustained by his daughter. The informant with the help of villagers brought his daughter to Sadar Hospital, Jehanabad, from where she was referred to PMCH, Patna. The informant brought his daughter to Appollo Hospital, Patna, from where she was referred to NMCH, Patna and during course of treatment, she died. It has been submitted that petitioner is married Nanad of the deceased. There is no specific overt act against this petitioner. Petitioner is in custody since 28.09.2016. In the aforesaid circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jehanabad, in connection with Shakurabad P.S. Case No. 135 of 2015.
