The petitioner has filed the instant application for grant of regular bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 147, 148, 149, 341, 504, 506, 307, 302, 447 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 27 of Arms Act.

The allegation against the petitioner is that he shot fired upon the informant's father, which hit upon his chest and leg, due to which he succumbed to gun shot injuries. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case in the background of land dispute. Petitioner is in judicial custody

Learned APP appearing on behalf of the State vehemently opposed the prayer of the petitioner and submitted that postmortem report corroborates with the prosecution version of the case. It shows that cause of death was due to fire arm injury. During investigation, witnesses have also supported the prosecution version.

Having heard the learned counsel for the parties and considering the nature of allegation, this court is not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail and, as such, his prayer for bail stands rejected.

Learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same as soon as possible.
