The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking a direction to the respondent - Bihar State University Service Commission (hereinafter referred to as 'the Commission'} to consider recommending the petitioner for appointment to the post of Assistant Professor (Psychology) against the Advertisement No. AP-PSYC-16/20-21 upon adding the weightage point of teaching experience.

3. Learned counsel for the Commission has submitted

Patna High Court CWJC No.12114 of 2024(2) dt.13-08-2024 2/2 that selection for the post of Assistant Professor (Psychology) pursuant to the aforesaid advertisement has been completed on 30.05.2024 and the names of the selected candidates have been recommended to the Education Department for appointment.

4. Under the circumstances, the prayer of the petitioner made in the present form and content cannot be granted.

5. Accordingly, in view of the submission made, as above, by the learned counsel for the Commission, this writ petition shall stand disposed of with a liberty granted to the petitioner to challenge the selection made by the Commission, if so advised.
