The petitioner has renewed his prayer for bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

As per the prosecution case, 474.41 litres of liquor was recovered and at the place of occurrence a motorcycle belonging to the petitioner was also recovered. It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 11.4.2022 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr. Misc. no.60727 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail on completing one year in custody. The petitioner has remained in custody since 2.9.2021.

Case no. 132 of 2021 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/ (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Sessions Judge 2nd -cumSpecial Judge, Excise, Siwan.
