2. The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Complaint Case No. 267(C) of 2023 for the offence under Sections 498A of the I.P.C. and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act.
3. There is allegation on the petitioner that he used to assault the complainant for demand of dowry and on 08.01.2023, he has deserted her wife after taking all her ornaments. Thereafter, the complainant started residing in her parental house.
4. Learned counsel for both the parties have submitted
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56720 of 2024(4) dt.24-02-2025 2/2 that the case has been amicably settled between both the parties and complainant - Robha Devi is living happily with her husband - Ramsurat yadav (petitioner).
6. Taking into account the above submissions, this Court is inclined to extend him the privilege of anticipatory bail.
7. Let the petitioner be released on bail in the event of arrest or surrender within a period of four weeks from the receipt of this order, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) each with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bettiah, West Champaran, in connection with Complaint Case No. 267(C) of 2023 subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Cr.P.C.
