Petitioner is in custody in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No. 327 of 2019 for the offence under sections 147, 149, 323, 341, 504, 379, 411, 353 and 338 of the Indian Penal Code and 4/40 of B.M.M.C. Rules 1972, Rule 108 (a) of Bihar Minerals Act, 2014 and 15 of the Forest Act.
Allegation against this petitioner is that he was involved in illegal extraction of sand.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner is labourer and residing in the same locality. The petitioner is in custody since 20.6.2019. Considering the fact that petitioner has no criminal antecedent, the Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner,
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49186 of 2019(2) dt.07-08-2019 2/2 let the petitioner, named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamui, in connection with Jamui P.S. Case No. 327 of 2019.
