Learned counsel for the State filed a counter-affidavit in the Court. Let it be kept on record.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the case of the petitioner is fully covered by a judgment dated 17.07.2018, rendered by this Court in C.W.J.C. No.17670 of 2017 (reported in 2018(3) PLJR 1029). He further submits that L.P.A. No.1556 of 2018, preferred by the State has been dismissed by this Court vide order dated 26.09.2022.

Learned counsel for the University has not disputed the fact that the petitioner's case is covered by the aforesaid judgment.

Learned counsel for the State has also not denied this fact that the Civil Review Application No.55/2023 was also dismissed but it is submitted that the State is going to file a S.L.P. before the Apex Court.

In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel for the University and the fact that the said LPA has already been dismissed, the respondent-University is directed to take a decision in respect of the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt/production of this order/copy of this order.

Accordingly, the present writ application stands disposed of.
