The petitioner apprehends her arrest in a case under Section 302 and other sections of the Indian Penal Code. Rita Devi is alleged to have assaulted the husband of informant with a stick on his head and the petitioner is also said to have assaulted him with fists and slaps. The charge sheet was submitted but the petitioner did not appear. The case is of the year 2006.

It is submitted that the informant has not supported the case in Sessions Trial No. 433 of 2006.

Considering the facts aforesaid, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on anticipatory bail. Accordingly, the same is rejected.

If so advised, the petitioner may surrender in the court below and pray for regular bail.
