JUSTICE PARTHA SARTHY ORAL ORDER (Per: HONOURABLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE) 27-09-2024 The challenge was with respect to the advertisements made for filling up posts in the Government, with reservation as amended in 2023. The enhancement of reservation beyond the 50% limit has been struck down by this Court. It is hence the challenge was made in the Public Interest Litigation.

2. The learned Counsel for the B.P.S.C. submits that the advertisements have been kept in abeyance. The learned Counsel for the State also submits that the judgment of this Court has been challenged before the Hon'ble Supreme Court.

3. Nobody appears for the petitioner today when the

Patna High Court CWJC No.12346 of 2024(4) dt.27-09-2024 2/2 matter was called in the morning and even after being kept aside for hearing.

4. We find absolutely no reason to keep the matter pending.

5. Recording the submissions of the B.P.S.C. and the State, the writ petition stands closed.
