The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Majorganj P.S. Case No.243 of 2016 registered under Section 47A of the Excise Act, 2016 besides Sections 272 and 273 of the Indian Penal Code.

The accusation is of recovery of 200 liters Nepal liquor from the Hyundai car on which the petitioner was found sitting and was apprehended by the police.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits that the petitioner has falsely been implicated in this case. Further submission is that the petitioner having no criminal

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.157 of 2017 (2) dt.11-01-2017 2/2 antecedent is in custody since 06.09.2016.

Having regard to the facts and the circumstances of the case, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi, in connection with Majorganj P.S. Case No.243 of 2016.
