2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Govindganj (Malahi) P.S. Case No. 596 of 2023, registered for the offence under Sections 364A, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

3. As per the prosecution case, the petitioner is accused of kidnapping the victim for ransom. He is named in the F.I.R.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is innocent and has not committed any offence. He further submits that the parties have compromised the case and therefore petitioner may be granted bail. The petitioner has one criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 14.05.2024.

5. Learned A.P.P. has vehemently opposed the prayer

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55766 of 2024(3) dt.25-09-2024 2/2 for bail.

6. Considering the fact that the petitioner is tampering with the evidence, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

7. Accordingly, this application for regular bail is dismissed.

8. The petitioner may renew his prayer for bail after the informant and the victim are examined in the trial. (Sandeep Kumar, J) Ranjeet/- U T
