The Petitioner is apprehending arrest in connection with Damdaha (Purnea) P.S. Case No. 234 of 2018 for the offence under section 420/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 12 of the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Considering the material available on record, the Court is not inclined to grant privilege of bail. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. However, the petitioner may surrender before the court below and prays for regular bail which will be considered by the court below

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.57133 of 2019(7) dt.29-06-2020 2/2 on its own merit on the same day without being influenced by refusal to grant anticipatory bail in the present case. With the aforesaid, the present application stands disposed of.
