The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered under Sections 384, 506, 307/34 of the Indian Penal Code and 27 of the Arms Act.

Allegation against the petitioner is of demand of extortion from the informant and when she refused to given extortion amount, the petitioner opened a fire from his gun, but she escaped.

It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 20.05.2019. Charge sheet has been submitted in this case. There is no allegation of tampering of witnesses alleged against the petitioner. None is said to have

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.51058 of 2019(2) dt.17-08-2019 2/2 been injured in course of firing. Due to village politics, the petitioner has been made accused.

On behalf of the State, it is submitted that the petitioner is named in the F.I.R.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate I/c, Saharsa in connection with Saharsa Sadar P.S. case No.276 of 2019.
