The Co-ordinate Bench in the case of Dr. Rajesh Kumar Sinha and others vs. The Union of India and others in MJC No. 1840 of 2023 elaborately considered in respect of filing belated contempt of court petition. Hon'ble Supreme Court has also taken a similar view in the case of S. Tirupathi Rao vs. M. Lingamaih & Ors. reported in 2024 SCC Online SC 1764.

3. Be that as it may, on 13.02.2012, petitioner's grievance has been redressed by passing an order. If he is aggrieved, he should have assailed the order in a appropriate manner and before the jurisdictional forum. Taking note of these dates and events, present contempt petition stands dropped. (P.
