2. The petitioner has prayed for the following relief/s :- "I) For issuance of a writ/writs, order/orders, direction/directions, directing the respondents specially to Respondent No.

5 transfer the entire deposited amount of in her A/C No. 10129837461 from the account of her husband who died on 23.12.2019.

II) To provide interest on the deposited amount."

3. The petitioner claims to be widow of the deceased

Patna High Court CWJC No.13851 of 2022(11) dt.19-03-2024 2/2 government employee, who had a saving bank account in State Bank of India at Anisabad Branch, Patna in which a deposit of Rs. 7,75,706.00/- is lying and she had applied to the said bank for transfer of the said amount into her account in the same bank.

4. A counter affidavit has been filed by the bank in which vide Annexure-R3/1, a circular dated 02.11.2017 has been placed on record, Clause-B whereof requires that if the amount claimed is more than Rupees Five Lacs then the claimant will have to submit the documents as detailed therein.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner agrees to the same and undertakes to submit the required documents as contained in Clause B of the said circular to the bank within one month and thereafter the bank shall release the amount in favour of the petitioner who is widow of the deceased account holder within fifteen days.
