The petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered for the offence under Sections 307, 498(A)/34 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 / 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and later on, Section 304(B) of the I.P.C. was added. It is a case of 'dowry death'. The informant, in the F.I.R., has alleged that this petitioner alongwith other coaccused persons committed murder of his daughter by setting her on fire due to non-fulfillment of demand of dowry. Petitioner is husband of the deceased and there is specific & direct allegation against him of causing death of daughter of informant.

Considering the same, the prayer for anticipatory bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.62823 of 2021(6) dt.13-03-2023 2/2 of petitioner is rejected.
