This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Singhwara Police Station Case No. 165 of 2020, disclosing offences under Sections 341, 323, 324, 308, 504, 506 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

The allegations against the petitioner is that in the Muharram procession, he has assaulted the informant. The injury caused to the informant is simple in nature. Considering the aforesaid fact, the application for anticipatory bail is allowed.

Let the petitioner, named above, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within eight weeks,

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10496 of 2021(4) dt.18-01-2022 2/2 be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Darbhanga, in connection with Singhwara Police Station Case No. 165 of 2020, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
