The present writ petition has been filed for the following relief(s):- "1. That this writ application is being filed on behalf of the petitioner above named for issuance of an appropriate writ, order or direction for quashing the decision passed by the District Magistrate-Cum-Chairman, District Selection Committee, Vaishali at Hajipur in a meeting dated 24/6/2023 under the signature of authorities concerned by which one namely Indralekha Kumari has been recommended for issuance of P.D.S.

license at Sr. No. 1 in place of the petitioner and further direction to the respondent Divisional Commissioner,

Patna High Court CWJC No.11224 of 2023(2) dt.11-10-2023 2/2 Tirhut Division, Muzaffarpur to consider protest application filed by the Petitioner and/or to cancel the P.D.S. license if any the same has been issued in the name of the same person in the place of the petitioner and if the same has not been issued to any person, may kindly stay the same till final order of this writ application."

3. Without going into merits or demerits of the case, having regard to the fact that the application of the petitioner is pending before the authorities concerned i.e. Divisional Commissioner. Therefore, Divisional Commissioner is directed to dispose off the said application as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is needless to mention that before passing any order, the petitioner shall be put on notice and passed a reasoned orders strictly in accordance with law. Any order passed shall be communicated to the parties.

4. With the above direction, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
