Petitioner apprehends his arrest in a case registered under Sections 341, 342, 323, 498A of the Indian Penal Code and 3⁄4 D.P. Act.

Informant has alleged in her written complaint upon which FIR was drawn that she was married with petitioner on 18.04.2017 but soon thereafter petitioner and her in laws started torturing her for non-fulfillment of demand of dowry and she was driven out from her matrimonial home on 12.11.2017 and since then she is residing in her parental home. It has been submitted on behalf of the petitioner

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.49066 of 2019(4) dt.10-01-2020 2/2 that he is innocent and has been falsely implicated in this case and has denied that the marriage was solemnized between petitioner and complainant. Annexure-2 is a complaint case filed by O.P. No. 2 in name of Gaudam Devi wife of Vinay Ram in which she has stated the date of incident as May, 2017 and in which even the date of marriage has not been disclosed. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of anticipatory bail is allowed and petitioner named above in the event of arrest or surrender before the court below within four weeks from today, Petitioner is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned court below, in connection with Chanpatia (Sirisiya O.P.) P.S. Case No. 379 of 2018, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
