Petitioners seek bail in Manjhi P.S. Case No.248 of 2018 instituted for the offence under Section(s) 272, 273, 188 Indian Penal Code and Section 30(a) of Bihar Prohibition & Excise Act.
It is alleged that 240 litres foreign liquor has been recovered from the Bolero vehicle. The petitioners with two other persons were found sitting on the aforesaid vehicle. Counsel for the petitioners submits that petitioners are in custody since 23.09.2018 having clean antecedents. In the facts and circumstances of the case, prayer of
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.66870 of 2018(2) dt.20-11-2018 2/2 the petitioners for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioners, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the Additional Sessions Judge,VI- cum- Special Judge, Excise, Saran at Chapra, in connection with Manjhi P.S. Case No.248 of 2018, subject to the condition that both the bailors shall be close relative of the petitioners.
