JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 18-07-2023 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "For issuance of an appropriate writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ or order or direction commanding the Respondent to immediately provide compensation to the family member of the deceased who have succumbed to COVID 19."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondentState has referred to the supplementary counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent no.3 to submit that ex gratia sum of Rs.4.50 lakh, has already been paid to the petitioner in lieu of

Patna High Court CWJC No.13911 of 2022(4) dt.18-07-2023 2/2 death of the husband of the petitioner due to Covid-19 infection. In view of the aforesaid, nothing survives for consideration, hence the present writ petition stands disposed off.
