JUSTICE BIBEK CHAUDHURI ORAL ORDER 12-08-2024 The petitioner is a retired Panchayat secretary. He was appointed to the post of Panchayat Secretary in the year 1996. He retired from the service on attainment of age of superannuation on 31st August 2019. The grievance of the petitioner is that during his service period, his salary was never revised, and he did not get any ACP or MACP, which the Government employee is entitled to get after 12, 24, and 30 years of service. He made a representation before the District Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara, alleging his grievance (Annexure 4),

Patna High Court CWJC No.11882 of 2024(2) dt.12-08-2024 2/2 but the said representation remained unanswered.

2. It is further submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that other Panchayat Secretaries who are junior to him were granted financial benefits, but he has been deprived of the same.

Without going into the merits of the application, this Court directs the District Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara, to dispose of the petitioner's representation (Annexure-4) within 30 days from the date of communication of this order after giving the petitioner the the petitioner the opportunity of being heard.

4. In view of the aforesaid circumstances, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

5. Let a copy of this order be served to the District Magistrate, Bhojpur at Ara, by the petitioner obtaining a server copy of the same.
