Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to remove the defects within three weeks of normal functioning of the court proceeding. In the eventuality of non-removal of defects within undertaken period, the office will place the matter before the Bench.

Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Sections 413, 414, 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

Allegation against the petitioner is that he had kept stolen/looted motorcycle at his house at village Barui and had affixed different number place in the said motorcycle. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the

He submits that petitioner has never indulged in anything illegal rather he bona fide purchased the motorcycle and upon inquiry he disclosed the identity of his buyer to the police and the petitioner had no reason to believe that the vehicle was stolen rather it was sold as a second hand vehicle. He further submits that petitioner bears no criminal antecedent as stated in para-3 of the bail application and he is languishing in judicial custody since 14.09.2020.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Kharagpur P.S. Case No. 242 of 2020.
