2. The petitioner is seeking regular bail in connection with Brahmpura P.S. Case No. 171 of 2021 for the offences punishable under Section 414 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8, 20 and 22 of the NDPS, Act.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that though the bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected vide order dated 19.04.2023 in Criminal Miscellaneous No. 64239 of 2023, but the trial has not been concluded up-tillnow.

4. On the other hand, the learned APP for the State has submitted that six out of nine witnesses have been examined.

5. Despite the observation of this court to conclude

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55340 of 2024(3) dt.17-09-2024 2/2 the trial expeditiously, the trial is still going on.

6. Learned trial court is directed to conclude the trial within a period of six months, failing which the petitioner shall be entitled to renew his prayer for bail.

7. With this observation, the present regular bail petition stands disposed of.
