JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL JUDGMENT Date : 29-08-2023 The limited prayer made by the petitioner in the present case is to direct the District Magistrate, Jehanabad, to dispose of the pending application of the petitioner dated 16.3.2021, filed for grant of arms license.

The learned counsel for the Respondents submits that in case, the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner, for grant of arms license, is still pending, the same would definitely be disposed off, in accordance with law, within a fixed time frame. 3.

Having regard to the limited prayer made by the

Patna High Court CWJC No.11815 of 2023 dt.29-08-2023 2/2 petitioner in the present case, I deem it fit and proper to direct the District Magistrate, Jehanabad, to consider the aforesaid application, filed by the petitioner, for grant of arms license, in case the same has not already been disposed off and pass a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks of receipt / production of a copy of this order.

The present writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
