The petitioner has renewed his prayer for grant of regular bail in a case registered under section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016 .

It is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the earlier application for bail of the petitioner was rejected vide order dated 8.6.2021 (Annexure-1) passed in Cr.Misc. No. 9997 of 2021 giving liberty to the petitioner to renew his prayer for bail after completing one year in custody. The petitioner is in custody since 4.10.2020 ie 1 year 1 month.

Heard learned APP for the State.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the liberty granted by the aforesaid

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63132 of 2021(2) dt.24-11-2021 2/2 order dated 8.6.2021 together with the petitioner having remained in custody for over 1 year, the petitioner is directed to be enlarged on bail in connection with Sadar P.S. Case no. 561 of 2020 on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Muzaffarpur.
