The instance application for regular bail has been filed by the petitioner in connection with Pakridayal P.S. Case No. 122 of 2022 instituted for the offence u/s 147, 148, 149, 497, 341, 342, 302, 307, 324, 325, 326, 120(B), 504, 506 of Indian Penal Code.

Earlier the application for regular bail of the petitioner was rejected by order dated 19.01.2023 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 48559 of 2022.

In pursuance to the direction of this Court, a report with regard to the present stage of trial has been received by which it appears that the trial may be concluded within 12 months.

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.56940 of 2023(3) dt.01-12-2023 2/2 No fresh ground is made for reconsideration of the regular bail application of the petitioner. Accordingly, this application stands disposed off.

However, learned trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same within a period of 6 months, failing which, petitioner will be at liberty to renew his application for bail.
