Patna High Court CWJC No.13887 of 2022(2) dt.09-05-2023 2/3 the respondent no. 2, Additional Chief Secretary, Govt. of Bihar, Patna as contained in memo no. 5373 dated 19/7/2022 by which a direction has been issued to District SubRegistrars/ Sub-Registrars that with effect from 1/9/2022, the registration of documents in the District Registration office of Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur and SubRegistration Office of Danapur and Phulwarishariff shall be made 100% on the model deed issued by the department (Annexure-6 to the writ application).

(ii) For issuance of a further writ of certiorari quashing and setting the consequential order dated 19/7/2022 of the respondent no. 3, Inspector General of Registration, Prohibition, Excise & Registration Department, Government of Bihar, Patna as contained in letter no. 5381 by which in light of the directives issued pursuant to resolution no. 3 taken under the Chairmanship of respondent no.2, Principal Secretary, Prohibition, Excise & Registration Department, Government of Bihar, Patna, formal order has been issued implementing the decision of registration of documents be made 100% on Model Deed Paper with effect from 1/9/2022 in the District Registration Office of Patna/ Muzaffarpur/ Bhagalpur/ Darbhanga and in Sub-Registration Office of

The learned counsel for the petitioners has referred to an order dated 31.08.2022, passed in M.J.C. no. 1355 of 2022, wherein it has been recorded that the Inspector General of Registration, Government of Bihar, Patna, vide letter dated 30.08.2022, has withdrawn letter no. 5381 dated 19.07.2022, hence, it is submitted that the grievance of the petitioners has stood redressed.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed off as having been rendered infructuous.
