JUSTICE VINOD KUMAR SINHA ORAL ORDER 20-12-2018 Earlier the prayer for bail of the petitioner was dismissed vide order dated 17.07.2017 passed in Cr. Misc. No. 25619 of 2017 with direction to the trial court to expedite and conclude the trial as soon as possible. Thereafter, the petitioner moved before the Hon'ble Apex Court for grant of bail, which has also been dismissed with the same direction. Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner that inspite of direction of the Hon'ble Supreme Court as well as this Court, the case has not yet been committed to the court of sessions and petitioner has been languishing in judicial custody for about three years.

Having heard both sides, considering the facts and

No.68037 of 2018(2) dt.20-12-2018 2/2 circumstances of the case, although, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, however, the trial court is directed to expedite the commitment of the case into the court of Sessions and once committed expedite the trial also.

At the same time, the District Judge, Patna is directed to see that the case is committed to the court of sessions within a period of two months.

With the above observation, this application is dismissed.
