JUSTICE AJAY KUMAR TRIPATHI ORAL ORDER 28-09-2015 The petitioner filed the writ application seeking a direction against the respondents, Bihar School Examination Board for reevaluation of History and English papers since, he was very sure that he deserved better marks than what had been awarded to him in the two papers.

Counter affidavit has been filed on behalf of the Respondent Nos. 2 to 4 with a stand that both papers were scrutinized. There is no change in the awarded marks in his History paper. However, for English, the marks 21 have been revised to 30. The corrected result as well as the marks sheet has been made ready and will be made available soon.

Patna High Court CWJC No.10136 of 2015 (3) dt.28-09-2015 2/2 Learned counsel for the petitioner does not feel satisfied with the exercise so done.

However, in absence of any statutory right, or mandate for re-evaluation, this Court can not embark upon in an exercise, beyond the terms of the regulation of the Board. The writ application therefore, stands disposed of as primary relief that the petitioner is looking for has been extended though not to the satisfaction of the petitioner. This writ application stands disposed of with the above observation.
