====================================================== CORAM: HONOURABLE MR. JUSTICE PURNENDU SINGH ORAL ORDER 22-08-2025 Heard learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and learned counsel for the Lalit Narayan Mithila University.

2. Learned counsel for the University informs that payment of Rs. 9,25,780/- has been paid to the petitioner and the calculation chart has also been handed over to the petitioner and the Principal of the Institution vide letter dated 16.06.2025. As such, the order has been complied.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner informs that the calculation as provided to the petitioner vide letter dated 16.06.2025 is just contrary to the pay point fixed by the Pay Verification Cell which comes to Rs.62,260/- as on 01.01.2016. The University has deliberately and intentionally has fixed on a lower pay point of Rs.58,600/-.

4. In view of the position and dispute raised by the petitioner in the supplementary affidavit filed in this regard, I find it proper to dispose of the present contempt petition with liberty to the petitioner to challenge the action of the Vice Chancellor of the University.

5. Accordingly, the contempt petition stands disposed of.
