The petitioner seeks regular bail in Alamganj P.S. Case No. 494/2017, registered for the offences punishable under Section 399 and 402 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 25(1-b)a, 26 and 35 of the Arms Act.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that as per written report two persons Rohit Kumar and Golu Kumar have been apprehended by the police. On search, fire-arm and knife was recovered from their possession. They disclosed the name of this petitioner as one of their associates. No article has been recovered from possession of the petitioner. He was not present on the spot. He is in custody since 11.04.2018. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case,

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.71006 of 2018(2) dt.10-12-2018 2/2 prayer of the petitioner for grant of bail is allowed. Let the petitioner above-named, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000 (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Patna City in connection with Alamganj P.S. Case No. 494/2017.
