2. The petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for offence under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act.

3. As per F.I.R., 3943.35 liters of illicit foreign liquor was recovered from a Hyva vehicle.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner is neither owner nor driver of the vehicle in question and has been made accused only on suspicion. Petitioner is in custody since 15.06.2025. Chargesheet has been submitted.

5. Learned A.P.P. for the State opposed the bail petition.

Considering the period of custody, let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge Excise 1st, Samastipur in connection with Vidyapatinagar P.S. Case No. 166 of 2024.
