Earlier the petitioners have approached this Court in C.W.J.C. No. 24225 of 2018. The writ application was disposed of on 14.12.2018. After the order of the Court dated 14.12.2018,

Patna High Court CWJC No.15895 of 2019(2) dt.05-08-2019 2/2 the respondent-State has granted affiliation, but instead of granting permanent affiliation, the petitioner institution was granted affiliation for the academic Session 2015-18. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the respondent-State has not taken final decision with regard to grant of permanent affiliation, although the University has recommended the case of the petitioner institution for grant of permanent affiliation.

Considering the fact that the petitioner-institution was granted affiliation for the academic Session 2015-18 and there is no rejection of the claim of the petitioner for grant of permanent affiliation in specific terms, the Court direct the State authorities to take appropriate step with regard to claim of the petitioner institution for grant of permanent affiliation in the light of the recommendation of the University at the earliest preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt/production of a copy of this order.
