The petitioner seeks bail in Complaint Case No. 1900(C) of 2009, punishable for the offence under Sections 406, 494, 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

There is allegation of torture and demand of dowry as well as solemnising second marriage against this petitioner. It is submitted on behalf of petitioner that petitioner is ready to keep the complainant, as his wife, with full honour and dignity and in compliance of order of learned Principal Judge

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.63543 of 2021(4) dt.07-03-2022 2/2 (Family Court), Ara, the petitioner has regularly paid maintenance into the account of complainant till June, 2021. In support of the same, photocopy of the payment slips have enclosed with supplementary affidavit. Petitioner has surrendered before the court below on 12.07.2021 and since then, he is in custody.

Learned A.P.P. for the State has opposed the bail petition.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances, the bail petition of petitioner is allowed. Let the above named petitioner be released on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Ara in connection with Complaint Case No. 1900(C) of 2009.
