Petitioners have prayed for the following reliefs:- "(i) For issuance of writ in nature of mandamus for commanding and directing the respondent authority to take a final decision or dispose the representation / application dated 14.5.2019 filed by the petitioners for the vigilance inquiry relating to financial irregularities in purchase of LED light, street

Patna High Court CWJC No.15813 of 2019(3) dt.29-01-2020 2/3 light, LED High Mask Light, JCB, Tractor, Foaming Machine for which the Urban Development and Housing Department, Govt. of Bihar vide letter no. 124 dated 21.3.2016 sanction fund of Rs. 1,65,58,962/- (one crore sixty five lakh fifty eight thousand nine hundred sixty two rupees) only to Nagar Panchayat Bhakhari, Begusrai.

(ii) And for any other relief/reliefs for which the petitioners are found to be entitled under the provision of law involved in the present case."

From the counter affidavit dated 18.10.2019, it is apparent that the disciplinary proceedings stand taken to its logical end which fact is apparent from the following averments reproduced herein under:- "f.

Finally the Urban Development and Housing Department has passed punishment order by notification issued vide memo no. 2046 dated 16.4.2019, whereby Arvind Paswan, Executive Officer, Nagar Panchayat, Bakhari has been inflicted with the punishment of stoppage of four increment with cumulative effect."

As such, we close the present proceedings which seems to

The present petition stands disposed of as having become infructuous.
