The petitioner seeks bail in Digha P.S. Case No. 485 of 2018/Special Case No. 8876 of 2018, registered under Section 30(a)/38 of the Bihar Liquor Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

Allegedly, from the possession of the petitioner, 10.875 litres of foreign liquor was recovered, leading to his arrest on 23.09.2018.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and if he is involved in similar type of offence, the Court may consider cancellation of his bail, if allowed in the present case.

Considering the above submissions, this application is

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.70499 of 2018(2) dt.04-12-2018 2/2 allowed. Let the petitioner above-named be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 10,000/- with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Special Judge, Excise Act, Patna in Digha P.S. Case No. 485 of 2018/Special Case No. 8876 of 2018.
