ANJANA MISHRA ORAL JUDGMENT Date: 24-01-2018 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the opposite party.

2. The petitioner seeks transfer of Matrimonial Title Suit No.212 of 2016 from the court of the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Gaya to the court of the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Purnia, where she has been living for about a year with her eight-year old daughter.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been seriously prejudiced in contesting the matter and is unable to come from Purnia to Gaya. It is further submitted that since the opposite party is in the habit of misbehaving and torturing the petitioner, it will cause serious prejudice to her life and her child also

Patna High Court MJC No.954 of 2017 dt.24-01-2018 2/2 and, therefore, she prays for transfer of the case to Purnia.

4. After giving conscious consideration of the matter, this Court feels that it would be expedient and in the interest of justice that Matrimonial Title Suit No.212 of 2016 be transferred from the court of the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Gaya to the court of the learned Principal Judge, Family Court, Purnia. It is ordered accordingly.
