Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offence punishable under Section 30(a) of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.

From the commercial vehicle of the petitioner, liquor was allegedly recovered. Petitioner has got three criminal cases under Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act. Petitioner is in custody since 14.09.2020. Investigation of the case is already complete. Considering the nature of allegation and criminal antecedent of the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge him on bail for the present in connection with Parbatta P.S.Case No.320 of 2020 pending in the court of learned Addl. Sessions Judge-II-cum-Special Judge, Excise Act, Khagaria. Hence, prayer is refused.
