2. The petitioner seeks bail in connection with Alamganj P.S. Case No. 327/2024 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 30(a)/36 of the Bihar Prohibition and Excise Act

3. The recovery of 200 liters of illicit liquor.

4. The name of the petitioner has come during the investigation. Earlier also, the petitioner was found accused in two cases. The petitioner is in jail since 11.07.2024.

5. The petitioner is ready to deposit Rupees Twentyfive Thousand in some charitable organization without accepting his guilt.

6. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.55944 of 2024(2) dt.14-08-2024 2/2 behalf of the State has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail.

7. Considering the period of custody, let the petitioner above named be released on bail after framing of charge, on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, Excise, Patna City, Patna/concerned court in connection with Alamganj P.S. Case No. 327/2024, subject to the condition s that the petitioner shall deposit Rs. 25,000/- (Twenty-five Thousand) only in Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Nala Road, Patna and produce the receipt of the same before the Court below. The bail bonds of the petitioner shall be accepted after verifying the genuineness of the receipt produced by the petitioner.
