This application for grant of anticipatory bail arises out of Kotwali P.S. Case No 172 of 2015, disclosing offence under Sections 406 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 3 (1)(x) of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities), Act, 1989.
From the First Information Report, it appears that out of hatched conspiracy, the investors have been cheated. I am not inclined to grant the privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Accordingly, this application for anticipatory bail is, hereby, rejected.
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32418 of 2015 (2) dt.14-08-2015 2/2 The petitioner is directed to surrender before the court below within six weeks and seek regular bail, if so advised. If he does so, his application for regular bail shall be considered on its own merit without being prejudiced by rejection of present application for grant of anticipatory bail.
