The petitioner apprehends arrest in a case registered for the offences punishable under sections 366-A of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the only role assigned against the petitioner is that he had introduced the victim girl to one Vikash Kumar who took her to Delhi and thereafter committed illegal act with her.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has also brought on record the statement of the victim girl made under section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. In view of the fact that the victim girl has herself

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.32402 of 2015 (3) dt.03-11-2015 stated in her statement that Raju had introduced his friend Vikash Kumar to her and they together, while she was returning after performing Sombari Puja, had forcibly made her to drink cold drinks as a result of which she became un-conscious and thereafter she was taken to Patna and thereafter boarded to Delhi, I am not inclined to grant privilege of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in connection with Mohammadpur P.S. Case No. 278 of 2014 pending in the court of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Muzaffarpur. This application for anticipatory bail is, accordingly, rejected.
