Petitioner seeks bail in a case registered for the offences punishable under Sections 20/22 of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act (N.D.P.S.) Act.

From a rented room, 1.950 Kg of Ganja was recovered and allegation is that the petitioner and co-accused were fleeing from that room. Petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and he is in custody since 30.09.2020. Investigation of the case is already complete.

Considering the nature of material and complete noncompliance of mandate of Section 42 of the N.D.P.S. Act, let the petitioner, above named, be released on bail on furnishing bail

Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.10397 of 2021(2) dt.01-07-2021 2/2 bond of Rs.20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Court below where the case is pending in connection with Spl. Case No.10/2020 arising out of Saharsa Sadar Police Station Case No.740 of 2020 with following conditions:

(a) Both the bailors shall be resident of territorial jurisdiction of the learned Court-below.

(b) The petitioner shall fully cooperate with the trial of the case, failing which the court below shall be at liberty to cancel the bail bond of the petitioner.

(c) The petitioner shall not leave the country without permission of the trial Court.
