JUSTICE MOHIT KUMAR SHAH ORAL ORDER 06-03-2024 The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following relief:- "(i) issuance of writ or writs in the nature of mandamus commanding the Respondent No.4 to pass reasonable order in favor of the petitioner, who was constable in CRPF. 215 Battalion, Jamui within fixed time frame as he has filed his appeal against Disciplinary Authority order of dismissal from service but the reasons best known, the Respondent No.4 is sitting tight over the matter. (ii) Issuance of an appropriate writ or writs in the

Patna High Court CWJC No.18726 of 2021(2) dt.06-03-2024 2/2 nature of certiorari quashing the order dated 16-01-2021 passed by the Respondent No 6 whereby the service of the petitioner was terminated because he contracted second marriage while his first wife was alive without obtaining prior permission of the Government to contract second marriage."

At the outset, the learned counsel for the respondent-State has pointed out that the petitioner has filed an appeal on 04.02.2021 and in case the same is still pending, the same would definitely be disposed off within a stipulated time frame.

Accordingly, I deem it fit and proper to direct the appellate authority to dispose off the aforesaid appeal, in the case has been filed and has not yet been disposed off, by passing a reasoned and a speaking order, in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks of receipt/production of a copy of this order.

The writ petition stands disposed off on the aforesaid terms.
