2. The petitioner seeks regular bail in connection with Sasaram (Town) P.S. Case No. 448 of 2025, dated 10-06-2025, registered for offences punishable under Sections 338, 336(3),318(4), 303(2), 340(2) and 3/5 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
3. The allegation as per the First Information Report (FIR) is that the informant was cheated in a fraudulent marriage scam. It is alleged that a person named Bunty agreed to arrange the marriage of the informant with one Kajal Kumari for an amount of Rs. 2.55 lakhs. The informant and his family members were called on 07.06.2025 for the engagement.

On 09.06.2025, one Pinki Devi called the informant and asked him to come to Sasaram for the marriage. The informant's family came and stayed in Ganga Hotel. Thereafter, the co accused persons Rajmani Kuer, Pinki Devi, Kajal Kumari, and three others arrived. They also brought sealed stamp papers with them, and a pundit was arranged. The informant was then married to Kajal Kumari. As agreed, the informant paid Rs. 60,000/- and Rs. 25,000/- through PhonePe and also paid Rs. 1.7 lakhs in cash to Pinki Devi. After the marriage, Kajal Kumari escaped on the pretext of going for defecation. Pinki Devi also escaped. The sister of the informant caught to the mother of the petitioner who was introduced as the aunty of Kajal Kumari. It is alleged that the owner and staff of Ganga Hotel were also hand in glove in the matter.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is innocent and he has been falsely implicated in the present case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. The petitioner, being the son of apprehended co-accused namely Rajmuni Kunwar, was apprehended by the police on false allegations. It is next submitted that the marriage between Kajal Kumari and the informant was solemnized at the
Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.52167 of 2025(2) dt.11-08-2025 3/3 Ganga Hotel in Sasaram, where the informant's side was staying, on 10-06-2025. The petitioner has no concern with this occurrence or with any member of Kajal Kumari's family or with other co-accused Pinki Devi and Bunty Kumar. The petitioner has been in custody since 11-06-2025 and has no criminal antecedents.
5. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail.

Having considered the facts and circumstances of the case and submissions of learned counsel for the parties, let the petitioner be released on bail upon furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Sasaram, Rohtas, in connection with Sasaram (Town) P.S. Case No. 448 of 2025.
7. The application stands allowed.
