This application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a direction to Sub Judge II, Patna City, District-Patna to dispose of Title Suit No.290 of 2010.

It is settled principle of law that High Court never issues writ under Article 227 of the Constitution of India. Further, the Civil Courts are not amenable to writ jurisdiction of the High Court. In exercise of supervisory jurisdiction under Article 227, the High Court only supervises the order of the Civil Court. Therefore, in my opinion, for the relief claimed in this application, this writ application is not maintainable.

Accordingly, this writ application is dismissed. (Mungeshwar Sahoo, J) Saurabh/- U T
