2. The petitioner has preferred this application for grant of regular bail in connection with Sasaram (Town) P.S. Case No. 448 of 2025 dated 10.06.2025 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 338, 336(3), 318(4), 303(2), 340(2) read with Section 3(5) of B.N.S.,2023.
3. As per the prosecution case, the informant was cheated in a fraudulent marriage scam. It is further alleged that the co-accused person, namely, Bunty Kumar, agreed to get marry the informant with one Kajal Kumari for an amount of Rs. 2.55 lakhs. The informant and his family members were called on 07.06.2025 for engagement. Thereafter, the said co-
2/4 accused Bunty Kumar switched-off his mobile phone. On 09.06.2025, one Pinki Devi called the informant and asked him to come at Sasaram for marriage. The family of the informant came and stayed in Ganga Hotel. Thereafter, Pinki Devi, Rajmuni Kuer (petitioner), Kajal Kumari and three others came. They also brought sealed stamp paper with them and the Pandit was also arranged and the informant was married to Kajal Kumari. As agreed, the informant paid Rs. 60,000/- and Rs. 25,000/- on Phone Pay and also paid Rs. 1.7 lakhs in cash to Pinki Devi. After the marriage, Kajal Kumari, escaped on the pretext of defecation and Pinki Devi also escaped. The sister of the informant was caught Rajmuni Kuer (petitioner) who was introduced as aunty of Kajal Kumari. It is further alleged that the owner and staff of Ganga Hotel were also involved in the alleged offence.
4. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is innocent and has falsely been implicated in this case. It is further submitted that the petitioner is a lady and has not committed any offence. She has falsely been implicated in the present case only on the basis of suspicion and was introduced as aunt of Kajal Kumari, whereas the petitioner has no connection with the said Kajal Kumari but they are residing
3/4 in the same mohalla on rent near S.P. Jain College, Sasaram, Rohtas. The petitioner being the neighbour of Kajal Kumari had only attended the said marriage ceremony alongwith the family members of Kajal Kumari. It is further submitted that the marriage of the petitioner with Kajal Kumari was solemnized on 10.06.2025 in the Ganga Hotel in presence of Pinki Kumari including the petitioner but the petitioner has not taken any money nor any online amount has been credited in the account of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the other co-accused person, namely, Banti Kumari @ Dilip Goyal, has already been granted bail in Cr. Misc. No. 60877 of 2025 vide order dated 15.09.2025. The petitioner has clean antecedent as stated in para 3 of the bail petition. The petitioner is in custody since 11.06.2025.
5. Learned A.P.P. for the State has vehemently opposed the bail petition of the petitioner.

Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case as well as the period of custody, the petitioner abovenamed, is directed to be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail-bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sasaram, Rohtas in connection with Sasaram
