This application, for grant of anticipatory bail, arises out of Sitamarhi Mahila Police Station Case No. 20 of 2016, disclosing offences under Sections 498(A), 307, 379, 120(B), 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against this petitioner and no specific overt act is attributed to him. The petitioner happens to be the father of husband of the complainant is innocent and he lives separately from the complainant. He has not committed any offence and has falsely been implicated in

Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.46872 of 2016 (8) dt.21-06-2017 this case. Hence, the petitioner deserves the privilege of anticipatory bail.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, let the petitioner, above named, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within six weeks, be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Sitamarhi, in connection with Sitamarhi Mahila Police Station Case No. 20 of 2016, subject to the condition laid down under Section 438 (2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
