KUMAR ORAL ORDER 06-12-2018 Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned counsel for the informant as well as learned counsel for the State. The petitioner, who is in custody, seeks bail in connection with Supaul Mahila P.S. Case No. 108 of 2018 registered for the offences punishable under Sections 376, 341, 354(A), 509, 506, 384, 385 and 34 of the Indian Penal Code, under Section 4/6 of POCSO Act and under Section 66, 66(c), 67 (B), 66 (E) of the I.T. Act.
Informant who is the father of the victim girl has alleged that petitioner fraudulently made objectionable video and clip of his daughter and committed rape upon her and thereafter threatened to make the video and clip viral and demanded Rs. 20,00,000/- and 1 Katha land from the
Patna High Court Cr.Misc. No.69546 of 2018(2) dt.06-12-2018 2/2 informant.
Learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposes the prayer for bail.
Considering the allegation against the petitioner, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail at this stage. Hence, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected. The trial court is directed to expedite and conclude the trial within one year from the date of receipt/production of copy of this order.
